My first attempt at eating no sugar went up in flames after about 10 days. Going completely without sugar means no bread, no packaged food of any kind, no eating out, and no meals prepared by anyone else. Sugar is in almost everything and is everywhere. It is little wonder we are all so fat.

Sugar also seems to be quite addictive. Eating a little made me want more and the desire for more was never really satisfied. I ate until I felt sick but never really satiated the sugar cravings.

The experiment was a failure. I did not maintain my commitment. I need a better plan.
